Ellen Spence Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in developmental neuropsychology with experience in child and adolescent care. With a doctorate in Clinical and Health Psychology from the University of Florida, and a post-doctoral fellowship in Developmental Neuropsychology from Georgia State University, Dr. Spence provides assessments and therapy sessions for children with developmental delays, learning disabilities, and/or neurological illnesses. She is committed to understanding the child’s strengths and weaknesses to develop an effective intervention or educational plan. For over 12 years, Dr. Spence has provided private practice services in the Birmingham area and has recently joined Shelby Psychological Services in January 2009.
