Her practice, located in the Presbyterian Counseling Center, is open and affirming of all people, regardless of gender, race, or sexuality. Dr. Heiner specializes in helping individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, and PTSD. She uses a trauma-informed approach and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) tools to help her clients understand the roots of negative feelings and change unwanted behaviors. By working together, Dr. Heiner helps her clients experience themselves in a different way, appreciating their true worth and finding value in their life. She serves individuals aged 11 and up, offering psychoeducation, identifying and restructuring thinking patterns, and teaching coping skills to help her clients thrive in daily living. Dr. Heiner's office is conveniently located on Franklin Street in Port Townsend, WA.
