She has a Master's Degree in Counseling and has completed the training required to become a Registered Play Therapist. Lisa's experience includes working with children ages 0-3 and their families in Early Head Start and counseling adolescent and adult women. She is fluent in Spanish and has completed training in various play therapy approaches, including Sand Tray, Attachment, Grief, Child-Centered Play Therapy, Family Play Therapy, Autism, Abuse and Trauma. Lisa's specialties include depression, anxiety, grief/loss, emotion regulation, changing families, racial identity, and complex and acute trauma. She is committed to creating a nurturing and supportive environment for her clients to achieve their goals through therapy.
