Easterseals Superior California’s Adult Day Services provide unique training opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities that focus on increasing independence through various teaching and training methods. The ACE-IT III program focuses on developing functional skills in areas such as vocational, fine arts, performing arts, domestic, recreational/leisure, general life skills, independent living skills, and socialization skills to help individuals become part of the community. The program offers services to 68 consumers, with 24 staff and two buses for transportation within and beyond the local area. Services are tailored to meet each individual’s needs and desires, and many of those who attend the program are employed and have their own apartment.
