With over 55 years of experience, the camp has been serving individuals with disabilities since 1964. Camp Harmon offers a variety of programs, including Summer Camp, Weekend Camps, Family Camp, and Social Recreation events, tailored to meet the needs and abilities of its campers. The camp features a range of activities, such as animal farm and garden, arts and ceramics, music and performing arts, outdoor nature trails and education, sports and games, and much more. The camp's staff are experts in various professional disciplines, including behavioral, recreational, speech, and occupational therapy, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all campers. With a camper-to-counselor ratio of 3:1 and a focus on skill development, recreation, and exploration, Camp Harmon is a life-changing experience for its campers. The camp is open to campers of all ages, from 8 to 65, and offers a range of facilities and features, including a combined lodge and dining hall, an on-site health center, 14 heated cabins, an arts-and-crafts center, an accessible swimming pool, a golf putting green, an athletic field, gardening areas, and an animal farm.
