About
Based in Gilbert, AZ, EVAN welcomes all families who would like to network and help each other get the services and education their children need. The practice recognizes that not all therapies and treatments work for all families, and it is their philosophy to expose their members to all available options. Founded in 2005 by three mothers of children with autism, Holly Reycraft, Melissa Van Hook, and Katie Wride, EVAN has a special passion for passing legislation that affects the autism community. They have spearheaded grassroots efforts with other community leaders to create new policies and pass legislation, including the autism insurance bill, Steven's Law, in 2007, and Senate Bill 1197 in 2009. EVAN serves as a support group for all autism families and connects many of their members who have relocated to Phoenix from all over the United States.
