Founded in 1963 by Mary Kathryn Archuleta, the organization's mission is to develop artistic excellence, motivation, and web access to enable all students to enjoy making their own music. They offer private instruction, group and ensemble instruction, music therapy, and adaptive music programs for ISS centers. Their programs are designed to meet the specific needs of each student, and they provide free evaluations to determine the most appropriate program of instruction and/or music therapy. Dreams Fulfilled Through Music also performs at community events throughout the San Antonio area, including nursing homes, senior living communities, and underserved and low-income audiences.
