Dr. Sam Demander is a psychologist specializing in trauma treatment with adults, teens, and children utilizing EMDR therapy. With his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wyoming in 1976 and graduating in the first class of the University of Denver’s Psy.D. program, he has been practicing privately since 1984 and in Parker, Colorado since 2002. His specialties include psychological testing, developmental psychology, parenting, underachievement, and general family psychology, all of which stem from his childhood introduction to psychology through his mother’s career as a psychiatric nurse at the Wyoming State Hospital. His passion for change and growth in his clients’ lives makes him immensely rewarded.
