Dr. Mary Black

Mary Ward Black, Ph.D. Dr. Black is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in providing psychotherapy and psychodiagnostic assessment services to adolescents and adults. Her practice emphasizes mindfulness, communication skills, and insight into personal values and meaning. Dr. Black has experience and interests in treating anxiety and mood disorders, emotional regulation difficulties, trauma, stress, and adjustment, interpersonal and relationship issues, parenting, social skill deficits, self-esteem, personality disorders, and identity development. She can also offer comprehensive psychological assessments to assess for ADHD, intellectual functioning, anxiety and depression, personality disorders, trauma-related symptoms, screening for learning disorders, screening for alcohol and substance abuse, and diagnostic clarification.
