Dr. Piscitelle specializes in working with children, adolescents, and adults with complex mental health, neurological, and learning challenges. She provides free initial consults and welcomes inquiries about evaluation services, even if unsure if neuropsychological, academic, and/or psychological testing is right. Dr. Piscitelle offers testing in person in Virginia, via telehealth in Massachusetts, and via telehealth in all 40 PsyPact states. She aims to help individuals and families feel comfortable using these services, which can provide great insight, understanding, and improvement in individual and family functioning and happiness. Assessing verbal functioning, perceptual reasoning, working memory, processing speed, abstraction, attention, learning, and other executive functions such as organization, planning, problem solving, and cognitive flexibility.
Clinical and educational consulting
Providing guidance and support for parents, educators, and treatment providers to develop integrated and practical supports and plans.
Psychological testing
Assessing social, emotional, and psychological functioning, including strengths, weaknesses, personality characteristics, coping skills, emotional style, interpersonal and social comfort, and relatedness.
Academic testing
Evaluating skills in reading, math, and writing to determine if a child is functioning at grade level and if specific learning disabilities may be impacting their ability to learn.
