The practice provides therapy for children (ages 4+), teens, and adults, including individual, relationship, family, and group therapy, as well as comprehensive psychological assessments. They offer in-person sessions at their Atlanta office or the convenience of online therapy across 44+ PSYPACT-participating states. The team is passionate about helping people heal, grow, and build more fulfilling lives, and they believe in therapy that affirms every part of who you are. Their practice is Anti-Racist, Trauma-Informed, Sex-Positive, Neurodiverse-Affirming, Trans-Inclusive, and Weight-Inclusive, and they proudly welcome LGBTQ+ communities, as well as those exploring Kink, Polyamory, and Consensual Non-Monogamy. The Aguirre Center is led by Dr. Sophia Aguirre, Ph.D., CGP, FAGPA, who has created an affirming, anti-oppressive space where clients can show up exactly as they are.
