Disabilities Resource Center of Siouxland (DRC) is a non-profit, non-residential, consumer-driven organization committed to providing and increasing consumer designed services and community awareness regarding disabilities. With over 30 years of service in Siouxland, DRC offers five core services: Advocacy, Peer Support, Information and Referral, Independent Living Skills Training, and Independent Living Transitional Services. These services are designed to assist consumers on their personal journey of independence, providing skills training in areas such as self-advocacy, assistive devices, socialization, healthcare, homemaking, and computers. DRC serves three Siouxland area counties and their residents: Woodbury, Cherokee, and Plymouth. Their mission is to ensure a fully accessible, integrated society that enables full participation by people with disabilities.
