The Developmental Center of the Ozarks (DCO) was founded by a group of parents with a dream to provide their children with a better quality of life. Today, this dream has become a reality, with DCO providing services to more than 1,100 individuals with developmental disabilities and delays each year in Southwest Missouri. DCO’s services allow for babies to receive early intervention therapy from birth, for children to attend inclusive day care settings, for adults to engage in activities such as dancing and drawing, to take classes on photography or science, and even to pursue employment and receive the necessary training. DCO has changed lives and continues to strive to improve the quality of life for those they serve.
