Delta Center is a consumer-controlled, not-for-profit organization that provides services for seniors and persons with all types of disabilities residing in the Missouri counties of St. Charles, Lincoln, and Warren. The organization was formed in 1997 by a group of local citizens with disabilities and other persons concerned about disability issues. Delta Center's mission is to partner with people with disabilities and their communities to remove barriers and promote positive changes leading to greater independence for all. Their vision is a world of acceptance, access, independence, and self-determination for all. Delta Center offers various services, including Independent Living Services, Adaptive Telephones, Advocacy, Aging in Place Assessments, Equipment Exchange Program, Endeavor Program, Consumer-Directed Services, Information and Referral, and Veteran-Directed Care Program. They aim to assist individuals in maintaining and improving their ability to live independently, regardless of age or ability.
