(DCS) is a multi-service, non-profit agency dedicated to helping people who wish to maintain dignity and an independent lifestyle within their community on the Delmarva Peninsula. The organization was established in 1974 and has been working in the area since then to offer services to individuals with developmental disabilities, seniors, and individuals living in poverty. DCS provides childcare and transportation services, and its mission is to assist all individuals towards self-sufficiency and independence through a process that emphasizes communication, planning, and teamwork.
