About
Debra Jean Lamar is a Licensed Professional Counselor offering a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment for individuals navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, and the lasting impact of domestic violence. She provides therapy across the lifespan, including young children (ages 0–5), school-aged children, teens, adults, and seniors. Debra's clinical focus includes support for marriage and family concerns, parent-child relationships, and behavioral issues. As a trained school psychometrist, she has extensive experience conducting mental health and educational evaluations to assess for learning disabilities, behavioral disorders, and mental health diagnoses. This allows her to provide a more comprehensive view of each client's needs and guide effective, individualized interventions. Debra's goal is to create a safe space where individuals can feel supported, process their experiences, and begin to heal and grow at their own pace.
