DMC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been providing services to people with disabilities since 1977. We are a non-residential, cross-disability agency that meets the standards and indicators established for the operation of independent living centers in the federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Our South Orange County office is one of 28 such centers in California, and there are approximately 500 centers in operation nationally. We are committed to facilitating equal access and inclusion for people with disabilities within the community.
