About
Dawn-Marie specializes in working with adults and adolescents in South Carolina who feel overwhelmed by life's demands, yet have kept moving forward despite the challenges. She has experience supporting individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, burnout, and complex trauma. Many of her clients have faced overwhelming events and learned to keep going even when completely depleted. Dawn-Marie's approach is centered around three steps: deciding what truly works for you, coming to know the parts of yourself you've kept hidden, and grieving past experiences that have caused pain. With her guidance, clients explore these steps in therapy, working towards self-love and self-acceptance. Valley-High Counseling provides therapy designed to meet the unique needs of neurodivergent adults, including those with ADHD, Autism, or Sensory Processing differences. Dawn-Marie is especially skilled at working with late-diagnosed or undiagnosed neurodivergent adults. She offers a safe, supportive space where clients feel comfortable exploring their experiences and growth, prioritizing being genuine and authentic in her relationship with clients.
