About
Born and raised in Berkeley, California, Daria has an enduring love for the magical and vulnerable time of childhood. She has been working with children and families for over 20 years and has been practicing meditation since 2001. Daria's approach to therapy focuses on cultivating presence, allowing the fullness of each moment to arise, be experienced, and be cherished. She creates a safe space for her clients to explore what's most important to them and any obstacles that stand in their way. Daria's work can support an assortment of childhood issues, including somatic complaints, behavioral issues, neurodivergent issues, problems with friendships, attachment issues, separation anxiety, depression, excessive worrying, and panic attacks. She offers individual play therapy sessions, outdoor sessions, and teletherapy to help her clients cultivate resilience and support growth and learning. Daria is also experienced in working with older youth, combining aspects of play into talk therapy to support growth and learning.
