Crystal Owens, the founder and a licensed professional counselor, has a unique background in mass communications and television, but has found her true calling in helping individuals, particularly children, reshape their stories and find a better path forward. With a master's degree in Pre-K through Grade 12 School Counseling from Tennessee State University, Crystal has a deep understanding of the importance of supporting young people and their families. At Red Cedar Psychotherapy, the goal is to help individuals start leading a good life as quickly as possible, by providing the tools and support needed to overcome challenges and find hope and calm in the face of fear and dread.

Red Cedar Psychotherapy is in-network with Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Optum, and Oscar. All other sessions are private-pay. Insurance coverage must be verified at least 2 days before the first appointment.
