About

No commute. No waiting room. Just engaging speech therapy from home. Get in touch and hear about the types of therapy we offer (child-directed, adult-directed and hybrid).

Why are we so motivated at CVC Therapy: Children are in a developmental growth spurt until age six. We want to work with this rapid growth while we can.

The longer a child is working on their speech sounds in school, the more difficult the sounds are to remediate due to the negative emotional impact of the delay.

Students at or below the 16th percentile fall into the below-average range. But the qualifying percentile IEP teams use to support decision making is the 7th percentile.

Children begin abstract reasoning in fourth grade but services can take more than a year to begin through the special education system in schools due to staffing.

Frequently asked

A doctor's referral for speech services.
If you're concerned about your child's speech, language, stuttering, social communication, or understanding skills, an evaluation will determine their areas of challenge and strength.
Yes! Research shows teletherapy is as effective as in-person services. Teletherapy just increases the cool factor for older children and helps maintain the natural learning environment for younger children.
Yes. At CVC Therapy, we offer three types of intervention (child-led, adult-led and a hybrid approach) and work with families to find the most appropriate level of intervention.
A school uses the 7th percentile to help make that decision. And a child is still below average until the 16th percentile! When a child is doing "okay," they may have areas of need that aren't low enough for a school to intervene.
