CAP provides information and support to customers and applicants seeking vocational rehabilitation services from the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), Department of Services for the Blind (DSB), Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation (TVR) programs, and Centers for Independent Living (CILs). They offer assistance at no cost to those receiving services from these organizations. CAP helps customers understand their rights and responsibilities, navigate the rehabilitation process, and resolve disagreements through informal discussions or mediation and/or fairing hearing processes. CAP is a private non-profit organization funded by the Federal Government under the 1973 Rehabilitation Act as amended.
