At City of Tucson Parks and Recreation, we strive to provide a variety of recreational opportunities for our community. Our parks are great places to stay active, play, learn, picnic, and relax. We operate and maintain Active and Passive Recreation Parks, Natural and Cultural Resource Parks, River Parks and Greenways, Plazas, Gardens, and numerous undeveloped park properties throughout Tucson. Moreover, we also preserve Open Space properties to ensure that our community has access to safe, natural areas. Our goal is to create recreational spaces that promote physical and mental well-being, while also preserving our city’s natural resources.
