Children's Research Triangle

Children's Research Triangle is a Chicago-based organization that provides research-driven behavioral health services, training, research, and adaptive recreation to support the development and well-being of underserved children and youth. Their mission is to provide equitable access to exceptional behavioral health services that nurture resilience and empower youth, families, and communities to thrive. Children's Research Triangle offers clinical mental health services, primarily to children and families confronting barriers to accessing mental healthcare. They specialize in assessment and mental health treatment for youth with complex histories of prenatal and environmental trauma, including sexual and physical abuse, exposure to community and domestic violence, and prenatal substance exposure. The organization has developed a community-based service model, locating therapy services at sites such as schools, shelters, and vet centers, and other family services organizations, in addition to operating a family-centered clinic in Chicago's Loop.
