Founded by Dr. Staci Born, the practice grew from a simple vision to create a space where children, families, and adults feel safe, seen, and supported. They offer individual therapy, play therapy, expressive therapies, trauma treatment, family therapy, parent support, supervision, and community education. The Blue Couch partners with schools, nonprofits, and community programs to ensure children and families receive the support they deserve. Their mission remains simple: to promote a healing community that builds resilience, nurtures social-emotional well-being, and reduces the effects of trauma on individuals, families, and communities. They have locations in Sioux Falls, SD and Mankato, MN.
