Centers for Independent Living (CILs) are community-based, non-profit organizations providing an array of independent living services to individuals with disabilities. Our Oakland, Fruitvale Avenue location offers Independent Living Skills, Information and Referral, Peer Support, and Youth Transition Programs for students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Our mission is to empower individuals with disabilities to live independently and become active members of their communities. We are committed to creating a supportive environment that respects the rights and dignity of all people. Our experienced staff provides personalized solutions for each individual, helping them gain the skills and resources necessary for independent living.
