CIDNY is a nonprofit organization founded in 1978 to aid people with disabilities in leading independent lives. We are part of the Independent Living Centers movement, a national network of grassroots and community-based organizations that empower individuals with disabilities to live their lives to the fullest. At CIDNY, we provide services such as peer mentoring, independent living skills training, health education, technology access and more. Our mission is to foster inclusivity and create a world in which every person with a disability can live with dignity and autonomy. We are dedicated to providing our community with the resources they need to lead meaningful, independent lives.
