(CEC) is a non-profit mental health agency with over 30 years of experience. They provide various assessments, individual counseling, couples counseling, family therapy, and group therapy to promote healing and a sense of personal well-being and create positive change. Their staff, comprised of Psychologists, Social Workers, Counselors, and Master’s and Doctoral level interns, serves individuals and families in need of a supportive and safe place. With flexible day and evening hours, including telemedicine options, CEC has three business offices in North New Jersey, located in Sparta, Madison, and Parsippany. They also offer services in Wayne. CEC's staff is recognized as experts within their fields and serves on various boards and committees throughout the State, dedicated to addressing mental health issues and the provision of mental health services.

Supportive Psychotherapy
Utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions, the goal of psychotherapy is to help reduce, eliminate, or control troublesome or distressing aspects of a person’s life, thus allowing them to function more effectively and increase their overall well-being.
Substance Abuse Assessment Services
CEC provides substance abuse assessment services for adolescents and adults, determining whether or not substance abuse services are needed.
Comprehensive Adolescent Program (CAP)
CAP offers community-based case management, individual and group psychoeducational services to high risk juveniles and their families.
Family Resolution Program
CEC’s staff is trained in providing a full range of family resolutions services including Supervised Parenting, Therapeutic Supervised Parenting, and more.
Forensic Services
CEC performs assessments and provides mental health services to at-risk families and juveniles, with the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P) and the Superior Court having come to rely on and trust the quality of CEC’s work.
