Dr. Gadia received his medical degree from Brazils Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul in 1980, and completed his neurology residency and pediatric neurology fellowship programs at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in 1987. He went on to earn a fellowship in Pediatric Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology at Boston Childrens Hospital/ Harvard Medical School in 1988 and has since lectured extensively in his areas of expertise.
