Located on 40 acres of Texas Hill Country along Lake Travis, Candlelight Ranch is a safe, inclusive space where children discover the wonders of the outdoors—many for the very first time. Through hands-on environmental education, outdoor adventure, and experiences designed for children of all abilities and backgrounds, they empower young people to build confidence, overcome challenges and grow in their curiosity of the natural world. Their programs serve children with disabilities, military families, foster and adoptive families, and youth facing social, emotional, or financial hardships. Activities like zip-lining, hiking, equine experiences, gardening and science-based learning help participants gain new skills, reconnect with family and discover the healing power of nature. For over 25 years, Candlelight Ranch has been a place where children overcome fears, families grow closer and a love for nature takes root.
