Camp Avanti is an occupational therapy program that provides intensive therapy within a rustic camp setting for children ages 6 to 15 with learning disabilities or sensory processing dysfunction (SPD). Our occupational therapists believe that individuals develop the ability to respond productively through meaningful and purposeful activities. We provide a safe and supportive environment for children to develop positive interpersonal relationships, improve sensory motor skills, and gain self-control, competence and self-esteem. Additionally, we document the effects of therapy programs and techniques through research, and act as an advanced training center for occupational therapists worldwide.
