Building Independence Together (BIT), founded in December 2016, is a Medicaid provider of Applied Behavior Analysis Services in the Lowcountry. Our mission is to serve children and families by providing trauma-responsive ABA services, informed by evidence-based practices and research. Our supervisors and staff are committed to working collaboratively with professionals from related disciplines, including Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and other service providers. We provide services throughout Charleston County, Dorchester County, Berkeley County, Colleton County and beyond. Our approach is to build relationships with schools, advocacy groups, other therapy groups, and local nonprofits, in order to create a supportive and compassionate community. We believe every individual deserves to be met with compassion, understanding, and evidence-led services.
