About Broward County Parks And Recreation | Saw Palmetto Natural Area

Broward County Parks and Recreation is pleased to offer Saw Palmetto Natural Area, consisting of two separate parcels that are the perfect setting for nature lovers and outdoor adventurers. The first parcel is a small section of pine flatwoods, featuring sandy soil and scattered limestone outcroppings. The second parcel is a disturbed area that has been cleared and filled from past development, providing a hub for access to the surrounding natural areas. With Saw Palmetto Natural Area, Broward County Parks and Recreation offers both experienced and novice outdoor enthusiasts a unique opportunity to explore and experience nature.
