At Broward Children's Center, our mission is to provide medical, educational, therapeutic, recreational, daily living, and advocacy services to infants, children, and young adults with special health care needs. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1971, we have grown from a single-program establishment to one that serves over 1,200 individuals each year. We strive to respond to the unique needs of every child we serve through programs that promote privacy, respect, independence, dignity, and engagement. Our goal is to ensure that every individual is given every opportunity to thrive and succeed.
