About
Founded by speech-language pathologist Abby David and music therapist Erin Nealy in 2005 as Helping Hands Center for Special Needs, Bridgeway's mission is to help each child and young adult reach their highest potential. The organization accomplishes its mission with a centralized approach, providing academic programs and therapy services in one place. With a client- and student-centered approach, Bridgeway's experienced staff is committed to creating a joyful atmosphere where each student's abilities are celebrated in a loving and compassionate environment. The practice lives out its values of collaboration, compassion, creativity, and integrity, shaping a supportive culture that begins with leadership and extends throughout the organization. Bridgeway's goal is to empower children and their families to reach their highest potential, and it wants every child to have the ability to receive the services they need. Gifts to Bridgeway support student access to education and therapy services, enriching opportunities like field trips and arts experiences, and help to sustain the organization into the future.
