Brianna is a graduate student at Marshall University where she studies a Master of Arts in Counseling. Her goals is to meet you where you are and help you along on your journey. Brianna's areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, relationships and dating, adolescents, coming of age, life changes and transitions, addictions, perinatal mental health, women's issues, college students, authenticity and self-actualization, and career counseling. She utilizes an integrated approach that incorporates the strengths of various counseling theories, including Jungian, Rogerian, Adlerian, Existentialism, Phenomenology, and Humanism. Brianna is passionate about providing personalized care and is dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's complexities with resilience and grace. She is licensed to practice in West Virginia and is certified in perinatal mental health. Brianna is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Counseling Association, American Psychological Association, West Virginia Counseling Association, and AHIMA. She is committed to continuously learning and growing, both personally and professionally. At Appalachian Counseling Center, Brianna is part of a team that serves the entire state of West Virginia, providing a range of services including individual therapy, psychological assessments and evaluation, medication management, teletherapy, walk and talk, couples counseling, and life coaching. Brianna's approach is client-centered, evidence-based, and tailored to each individual's unique needs. She believes that every individual has the inherent capacity for growth and transformation, and is dedicated to helping them achieve their goals.
