The program is named after the Irish monk, St. Brendan the navigator, who is said to have sailed to North America 800 years before Columbus in a leather canoe. Brendan Sailing's mission is to empower youth with learning differences through sailing, and they achieve this through their uniquely tailored experiential instruction. The staff at Brendan Sailing are highly trained and certified, bringing both expertise and heart to every program. They create a safe and welcoming environment where every youth with learning differences can succeed.
