About
The practice focuses on helping children, teens, families, and adults navigate challenges like trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship stress. They draw from DBT and ACT, with an emphasis on distress tolerance and mindfulness, to help clients build resilience and coping skills that last. Brandilyn Wilson enjoys working with children, teens, and families, as well as adults seeking support for trauma, anxiety, depression, or life transitions. The practice style balances empathy and humor with direct feedback, encouraging clients to explore challenges honestly while feeling supported and understood. As an intern therapist, Brandilyn Wilson is completing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wayne State University and offers reduced-cost sessions. Outside of therapy, Brandilyn Wilson loves hiking, yoga, and caring for her four cats and dog. She believes that healing happens when people feel seen, supported, and empowered to create lasting change.
