With over 45 years of experience working with families, adults, and children, Betsy provides a warm and accepting environment for her clients. She specializes in postpartum depression and anxiety, couples therapy, adolescents, mental health, and pet therapy. Betsy is a bilingual (Spanish/English) nurse psychotherapist and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). She is uniquely equipped to handle problems with a medical overlay, having worked as a nurse in obstetrics, labor, and delivery, and being a certified specialist in postpartum depression and anxiety. Betsy's approach is eclectic and educated, combining her professional experience with a respectful and non-judgmental environment. She works with clients to assess, set goals, and implement a treatment plan that is specific to their needs. Betsy offers tele-sessions in AZ and CA, and in-person sessions in Phoenix only. She welcomes individuals and families of all ages, sexual preferences, and gender identities. Betsy's goal is to help her clients feel more confident and courageous, and to assist them in taking a courageous first step toward getting to a better place and being a better version of themselves.
