About
With a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Beth has over 22 years of experience in the mental health field, working with a diverse range of people from all walks of life. Her therapeutic approach is influenced by her core belief that each person has access to powerful answers and strengths within themselves. She utilizes various treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Animal Assisted Therapy, and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, with a special focus on Accelerated Resolution Therapy. This modality is used to address trauma and unlock profound healing while reprocessing events and allowing the brain to align with the individual and release body sensations and stored distortions. Beth's treatment approach is tailored to address individual needs, and she offers a safe space for healing, incorporating humor and play as tools in her practice. She is passionate about assisting people in navigating crises in their lives and the constant change and evolution they experience. Worth Beginning Wellness serves individuals from teenagers to adults, with a focus on ages 13 and above, and offers in-person and remote therapy options, including teletherapy. The practice is committed to providing care for the body, mind, and spirit, and Beth is an advocate for those who are marginalized and disenfranchised, always seeking equity for all.
