About
They partner with families to improve the lives of children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Each child and family comes to BSP with a unique set of values, behaviors, and experiences, and they create individualized treatments based on their needs, cultural values, and family strengths. Their services and supports are based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), the scientific study of behavior. They use naturalistic developmental behavioral interventions (NDBI) to teach critical skills in a child's development, such as language, play, social emotional, and self-help. They also focus on teaching life skills to older individuals to ensure their success in work, leisure, and social life. A Case Supervisor leads the treatment team, and parents are active participants in the process. Frequent collaboration between team members and in-field supervision by the Case Supervisor ensure the child's progress is on track.
