About
Floortime Atlanta serves children with social, emotional, communicative, developmental and learning challenges, including autistic spectrum disorders such as Autism and Asperger’s Disorder. They also work with parents and entire families to help them understand their children and address the emotional and practical challenges they face in helping these children grow. Floortime Atlanta uses the Developmental, Individual-Difference, Relationship-Based (DIR) model developed by Stanley Greenspan, M.D. and Serena Wieder, Ph.D. to work with children and their families. This comprehensive assessment and intervention program combines an understanding of the child’s individual sensory strengths and needs, the child’s developmental level, and the child’s most important relationships. The practice is located at 2320 Perimeter Park Drive, Atlanta GA 30341, near the intersection of I-285 and North Peachtree Road. Amanda Kriegel, PsyD, provides services at The Roswell Counseling Group, 2406 Macy Dr, Roswell, GA 30076.
