The practice provides professional productions and high-quality training for classical ballet dancers in the Hampton Roads community. Ballet Virginia's academy offers classes in ballet and tap for students from 18 months to nine years old, as well as classes in ballet and modern for ages 7 and up. The practice also offers an adult dance program for ages 14 and up. Ballet Virginia's mission is to foster a lifelong passion for dance through nurturing education, invigorating performances, and artistic excellence. They strive to maintain artistic excellence in all of their endeavors and enrich the lives of all Hampton Roads residents through dance.
