At Ballet Virginia, we strive to make dance accessible to everyone – regardless of disability. Under the direction of our program director, Lisa McCarty – who has over 25 years of experience teaching children’s dance classes and has completed the Boston Ballet’s Adaptive Dance Teacher Training course – we provide high quality, engaging, and positive instruction for children ages 3-9 and their caregiver/parent. Our ballet-based creative movement program is designed to help foster coordination, self-confidence, musicality, fitness, and personal growth.
