Avita Community Partners is a resource for individuals and families in northeast Georgia experiencing the disabling effects of mental illness, developmental disabilities, and addictive diseases. They provide support and comprehensive services to individuals and families in crisis. Their competent, committed, and compassionate staff believes individuals served should be treated with dignity and respect, be educated about disabilities, rights, and options, have access and opportunity to participate in the community and be served by that community, have access to confidential and ethical services, and have a responsibility to participate in services. Avita Community Partners offers a variety of services, including mental health programs, addictive disease support, services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and behavioral health crisis services. They also provide support for children and adolescents dealing with behavioral problems, severe emotional disorders, and substance abuse.
