The Autism Society of Greater Akron (ASGA) is the nation’s oldest and largest grassroots autism organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of those impacted by autism. Founded in 1987 by parent volunteers of children with autism in Summit, Medina, Portage, Wayne, and Stark counties, ASGA provides resources, information, and support for those affected by autism. Our mission is to empower individuals and families affected by autism to advocate for better outcomes and to bring awareness and understanding of autism to our communities.
