About
Founded in 1986, Aurora began with a simple but powerful goal: to provide individualized, community-based services for people with disabilities. They offer a range of services, including residential and day services, behavioral health and wellness counseling, crisis and immediate support services, employment and vocational services, and business solutions and professional development. Their services are tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals and organizations, and they believe that people thrive when they feel seen, heard, and supported. With a strong focus on dignity, respect, and community-based support, Aurora Community Services Residential has grown into a vibrant network of support services across multiple areas of need. They have a presence in Wisconsin and Colorado, with over 30 residential homes and a range of programs and services designed to support individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities, challenges related to mental health or substance use, and traumatic brain injuries.
