Associates in Pediatric Therapy (APT) is a therapeutic clinic practice providing specialized services for children with special needs in Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee. Founded in October 2007 by Renea Sageser, APT opened its first clinic in January 2008 in Shelbyville, KY with just six part-time employees. Today, APT has grown to over 200 employees and focuses on opening clinics in rural areas to provide quality services closer to children’s homes. APT offers multiple pediatric services using a team approach, in fun and exciting locations that are appealing to the patient and family. We also value our partnerships with other pediatric facilities, such as daycares, nursing facilities, and private and public schools, to provide therapy within a child’s natural learning environment, making therapy an enjoyable experience for our patients.
