The Southern Tier Independence Center (STIC) is proud to provide high-quality assistive technology services through its Technology-Related Assistance for Individuals with Disabilities (TRAID) Program. Our program offers access to assistive technology to any New Yorker with a disability, providing device loans and hands-on training to those in need. Our program is supported by grants from the US Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Community Living (ACL), the NYS Department of Health, and ACCES-VR. Through our Regional TRAID Centers, a variety of devices are loaned out for use in different settings such as at home, school, or work. We strive to make life easier for people with disabilities, helping them to reach their fullest potential.
