The Assistive Technology (TRAID) Program is a comprehensive resource for New Yorkers with disabilities, providing access to assistive technology services through Regional TRAID Centers. These centers offer device loans and hands-on training to those needing assistance. Through generous grants from the US Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Community Living (ACL), the NYS Department of Health, and ACCES-VR, the TRAID Program enables individuals to access a wide range of adaptive equipment to use in their home, school, or workplace. The Justice Center oversees the TRAID Program, and Regional TRAID Centers can be located according to county.
