The Assistive Technology Loan Fund Authority (ATLFA) is a Virginia State Authority created with public funds to provide affordable financing options for Virginians with disabilities. We offer loans with below-market interest rates, no down payments, and longer repayment terms to help make assistive technology accessible. Our services cover any type of equipment related to a disability, such as recreational equipment, vision aids, communication and hearing devices, and adaptive vehicles. We offer loan opportunities to anyone with a disability in Virginia, or a caregiver of any age, regardless of income. Credit history, income and debt are considered, and special consideration is given to disability and medically related credit issues.
